This weekend saw mixed fortunes for players of lotteries around the world, with some jackpots being won by single ticket holders, some jackpots rolling over and others being won by multiple ticket holders. Of course, the recent Euromillions jackpot was still on players’ minds, with the second biggest jackpot this year being won on Tuesday 13th November 2012 by a single French ticketholder, whom, at time of going press, has still not come forward to claim his/her or their prize. However, this weekend saw the Powerball top $214 million, plus the SuperEnalotto reach €22.5 million, so there were still lots of big prizes out there to play for.
However, despite the big jackpots on offer by both the Powerball and the SuperEnalotto, neither lottery found a player able to match all the required numbers to scoop either jackpots, which means these will once again roll over. This puts the Powerball jackpot at a whopping estimated $250 million in time for its next draw on Wednesday 21st November 2012, which is bound to attract attention from players from around the globe. The Italian SuperEnalotto jackpot grew to an estimated €23.2 million.
News was slightly better on the UK front however, with the UK Lotto seeing two ticket holders share the Saturday night jackpot of £4,136,356, taking home £2,068,178 each. For the full results, head across to the Results Page on Lottery.co.uk. Plus, a massive 13 Australian ticket holders will be deliberating their mixed blessings, after sharing the Australian Saturday Lotto jackpot of AUD $4,221,059 each, giving each player a small jackpot share of AUD $324,696.
Of course, our attention is never far away from the Euromillions, which saw its first rollover of the brand new jackpot this Friday 16th November 2012, which means the estimated jackpot for tomorrow night is already an impressive €21 / £17 million. So, players, if you want to follow in the footsteps of our mysterious French winner, get your tickets now, and see if you are a winner!
